Niphon (Alexandria)
Niphon († 1386 ) was the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria (1366–1385).
He came from Constantinople and was a follower of the teachings of Prochoros Kydones and Gregorios Akindynos , who fell out of favor with the Byzantine emperor in the dispute over the Hesychasts .
