Stage overview

The 2015 Tour de Suisse began with a prologue in Rotkreuz ZG and ended with an individual time trial in Bern . The last time the federal city was the destination of the Tour de Suisse in 2009.

Brunnen was planned as the starting point for the third stage . Due to the closure of the Schöllenen Gorge after a rock slide on May 20th, the start had to be postponed to the southern side of the Alps. The stage led first on the old pass road to the Gotthard Pass and after a loop in northern Ticino to the stage town of Olivone .
