The Grand Prix Ouest France 2015 was the 79th edition of this cycling race and took place on August 30, 2015. The race was held on a Sunday during the Vuelta a España . The one-day race was part of the UCI WorldTour 2015 and within this the 24th of 28 races. The total distance of the race was 229.1 kilometers. The Norwegian Alexander Kristoff from the Russian team Katusha won ahead of the Italian Simone Ponzi from the Italian team Southeast and the Lithuanian Ramūnas Navardauskas from the US team Cannondale-Garmin .

For Alexander Kristoff it was the first victory at the Grand Prix Ouest France. He was the second Norwegian rider, after Edvald Boasson Hagen ( 2012 ), who won the GP Ouest France. So it was the second Norwegian victory in this race.

The 17 UCI WorldTeams of the 2015 season were eligible to start . In addition, the organizer gave wildcards to seven UCI Professional Continental Teams . The 24 participating teams competed with eight drivers each, with the exception of the Katusha and Southeast teams, which started with only seven drivers each. This resulted in a starting field of 190 drivers from 32 nations. The drivers included nine Germans, two Austrians and seven Swiss.
