The Amstel Gold Race 2015 was the 50th edition of this cycling classic and took place on April 19, 2015. It was the first race of the “Ardennes Week” and was held on a Sunday, three days before the Flèche Wallonne or exactly one week before Liège – Bastogne – Liège . The one-day race was part of the UCI WorldTour 2015 and within this the eleventh of 28 races. The total distance of the race was 258 kilometers. The Pole Michał Kwiatkowski from the Belgian team Etixx-Quick Step won ahead of the Spaniard Alejandro Valverdefrom the Spanish team Movistar and the Australian Michael Matthews from the Australian team Orica GreenEdge .

For Michał Kwiatkowski it was the first victory in the Amstel Gold Race. In addition, he was the first ever Pole to win the race.

The 25 participating teams competed with eight drivers each. This resulted in a starting field of 200 drivers from 32 nations. The drivers included eight Germans, one Austrian and four Swiss.
