The Gent – Wevelgem 2015 cycling race was the 77th edition of this cycling classic and took place on March 29, 2015. As in the previous year, the race was held on a Sunday. The one-day race was part of the UCI WorldTour 2015 and within this the seventh of 28 races. The total distance of the race was 239.1 kilometers. The Italian Luca Paolini from the Russian team Katusha won ahead of the Dutch Niki Terpstra from the Belgian team Etixx-Quick Step and the British Geraint Thomas from the British team Sky .
For Luca Paolini it was the first victory at Gent – Wevelgem. He was the fourth Italian professional after Francesco Moser ( 1979 ), Guido Bontempi ( 1984 , 1986 ) and Mario Cipollini ( 1992 , 1993 , 2002 ) to win the Gent-Wevelgem race. So it was the seventh Italian victory in this race.

The 17 UCI WorldTeams of the 2015 season were eligible to start . In addition, the organizer gave wildcards to eight UCI Professional Continental Teams . The 25 participating teams competed with eight drivers each. This resulted in a starting field of 200 drivers from 33 nations. Among the drivers were 17 Germans, two Austrians and four Swiss.
