Winner Andrew Anacona Gómez (born August 11, 1988 in Coper , Boyacá ) is a Colombian cyclist .

Athletic career

Winner Anacona was the Colombian junior champion on the track in 2006 in the team pursuit and in the points race . On the road , he won the individual time trial title .

Ancona won a stage of the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia in 2011 in the adult division and then received a contract with the UCI ProTeam Lampre-ISD in 2012 , for which he won a stage of the Vuelta a España in 2014 . For the 2015 season he switched to the Movistar team , mainly as a helper for his compatriot Nairo Quintana . During this time he won the Vuelta a San Juan Internacional 2019. After the 2019 season, he left Movistar with Quintana and signed a contract with the Arkéa-Samsic team .
