Stage overview

The stage plan was presented to the public on June 16, 2012.

The course of the 2nd stage had to be changed because of snow. The Nufenen Pass was impassable, so the stage was shortened by 42.1 to 119.2 kilometers.

On the 6th stage, the tour passed the city of Zurich for the first time since 1997 .
