Tour de Suisse 1973
The 37th Tour de Suisse took place from June 15 to 22, 1973. It was held in ten stages and a prologue over a distance of 1,288.6 kilometers. The prologue was held as a team time trial, but without any evaluation for the overall classification. The 3rd stage was held as a mountain time trial and the 10th stage as an individual time trial.
Overall winner was the Spaniard José Manuel Fuente . The tour started in Zurich with 80 drivers, 51 of whom came to the finish in Olten on the last day . The average speed of the winner was 34.43 km / h.

- ↑ Because of the cold snap, the race in Bulle was canceled and restarted in Le Locle, nine kilometers from the finish. The winner of the stage only won the last section.
