Wladimiro Panizza (born June 5, 1945 in Fagnano Olona , † June 21, 2002 in Cassano Magnago ) was an Italian cyclist . He was a professional driver from 1967 to 1985 .

During his career, Panizza competed 18 times in the Giro d'Italia , which he finished 16 times, including nine times in the top ten. His best placement was second place at the Giro d'Italia in 1980 . He was able to win a stage twice, in 1975 and 1978 .

Panizza's other important results include fourth place in the 1974 Tour de France . At the Tour de France 1976 he was stage winner.

Panizza also took numerous top positions in classics , among which the second place at Milan-Sanremo 1976 and third places at Liège-Bastogne-Liège 1974 and Giro di Lombardia 1976 stand out.
