Heinrich Philipp Jaeger (born February 17, 1816 in Koblenz , † April 13, 1888 in Cond ) was a Prussian administrative officer and district administrator .

Life

Origin and education

Heinrich Jaeger was the son of the Prussian forestry councilor Heinrich Jaeger and Maria Magdalena, born. Shimmer. After attending high school in Koblenz he studied among others at the University in Bonn ( enrollment : October 14, 1835 until the winter semester 1838/39) cameralistics . There he belonged to the Corps Borussia .

Career

As a government trainee, he then entered the Prussian administrative service, where he was employed from September 28, 1840, initially with the Koblenz government and from September 28, 1846 with the Arnsberg government . After his examination as a government assessor (August 20, 1847), he found employment with the governments in Düsseldorf and Cologne , and in the meantime was also responsible for the Adenau district from May 13 to December 12, 1848 . During this time he was reassigned to the Koblenz government on December 4, 1848. From there, on February 22, 1849, Jaeger initially took over provisional administration of the Cochem district , his definitive appointment followed on June 21, 1851. Heinrich Jaeger died on duty. With 39 years of service, he was the longest-serving district administrator in the Cochem district.

The Catholic Heinrich Jaeger married Maria Magdalene Johanna, born on December 13, 1852 in Cochem. Junck (born January 30, 1820 in Trier, † May 12, 1867 in Cochem), the daughter of the farmer and Trier judge of the peace Michael Junck and Veronika Agathe, born. Schmit.
