Clemens August Heckmann

Clemens August Heckmann (* 1825 in Münstermaifeld ; † January 6, 1884 in Adenau ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

After attending high school in Koblenz Clemens Heckmann studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg Law . In 1845 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . In 1848 he joined the Corps Nassovia Heidelberg. In 1861 he became a government assessor in Koblenz. From 1863 to 1874 he was mayor of Münstermaifeld , interrupted by a two-year assignment as provisional district administrator of the district of Zell . In 1874, Heckmann became district administrator for the Adenau district. He held the office until his death.
