Vytautas Kirkliauskas
Vytautas Kirkliauskas (born August 15, 1949 in Geležiūnai , Prienai Rajongemeinde , † August 16, 2008 in Alytus ) was a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the municipality of Alytus .
Life
After graduating from high school in Birštonas in 1967 , he completed his degree in civil engineering as a civil engineer at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1972 . From 1972 to 1974 he worked in road construction in Alytus, from 1974 to 1976 as a senior engineer and from 1976 to 1983 director at the Alytaus gelžbetoninių Konstrukcijų gamykla plant . From 1988 to 1995 he was general director of the AB “Alytaus monolitas” construction company. From 1995 to 1997 he was Deputy Head of District Alytus . From 2000 to 2007 he was Mayor of Alytus. From 2007 to 2008 he worked at AB “ Kauno tiltai ”.
From 2000 he was a member of Naujoji sąjunga ( socialliberalai ).
He was married. With Mrs. Laima-Vincė he had the son Henrikas and the daughter Kristina.
