Walther Koenig (politician)

Walther Koenig (* 8. June 1860 in Lohe , Kreis Siegen , † 10. September 1922 in Wiesbaden ) was a German lawyer, politician and district administrator of the district cell .

Life

Koenig was born in 1860 as the son of a director of Duisburger-Ruhrorter Bank AG and studied law in Bonn from 1878 to 1881 after finishing school at the grammar school in Duisburg . There he became a member of the Alemannia Bonn fraternity in 1878 . In 1881 he was a trainee lawyer at courts in Duisburg and Kleve . In 1884 he became a government trainee with the governments in Düsseldorf and Köslin before he took over the administration of the district office of Rees for one year in 1888 . In 1889 he became district administrator of the Zell (Mosel) district. In 1910 he retired and was appointed secret councilor.
