Alexander Halm

Alexander Halm (born February 6, 1840 in Koblenz , † July 13, 1913 in Strasbourg ) was a German politician, district administrator and German district president in Strasbourg, Unterelsaß district (1898–1907) in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine .

Halm became a member of the Frankonia fraternity in Bonn in 1857 during his studies . Before his appointment as district president, he was district administrator in the Adenau district and district director in the Rappoltsweiler district (1871–1872) as well as in the Metz district (1880–1883) from 1868 to 1872 and served as mayor of Metz from 1886 .
