A Nippelspanner also spoke clamp , spoke wrench , spoke wrench or centering keys called, is a tool to the spoke nipples, special square sleeve nuts, of bicycle - or motorcycle wheels to tighten or loosen and center so by changing the spoke tension the wheels.
With the help of the nipple tensioner, the tension of a bicycle spoke on the spoke nipple can be adjusted. These sit on the spokes with a thread and can be adjusted by turning the spoke wrench.
