Nkrumah National Party

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nkrumah National Party ( NNP ) was a political party of the West African state of Ghana founded in Accra in 1992 .

Members

The party chairman was Kwesi Pratt, who also became general secretary of the Popular Party for Democracy and Development (PPDD) in the same year.

The party essentially consisted of members of the Kwame Nkrumah Revolutionary Guards (KNRG), United Revolutionary Front (URF) and Democratic Alliance of Ghana (DAG).

The PPDD and the Nkrumah National Party are both in the political tradition of the Nkrumahrists and are therefore considered to be parties of the left-wing party spectrum in Ghana.
