Lake Nkuruba or Lake Nkuruba is a volcanic crater lake and is located at the northern end of the Kasenda crater group in western Uganda . The lake has an area of 3 hectares with an average depth of 16 m and a maximum depth of 38 m. Its water volume is 481,000 m³. The lake has no inflows or outflows, but is regulated by groundwater .
In the northern two thirds the bank drops off relatively steeply, while in the southern third the bank is flatter. The crater rim lies on average 48 m above the water surface.
