Noëlle Bucher

Noëlle Bucher (born November 8, 1985 ) is a Swiss politician ( Greens ). She has been a member of the Lucerne Cantonal Council since June 2019 .

biography

Bucher studied social and communication sciences with a focus on organization and knowledge at the University of Lucerne . Since 2009 she has been with Interface Political Studies , a private research and consulting company. As a project manager, she is responsible for carrying out evaluations in the areas of migration, integration, equal opportunities, education and health. In this role, she also advises the public sector on strategic and operational issues.

Bucher has three children and lives in Lucerne.

politics

From 2012 to 2019, Bucher was a member of the Grand City Council of Lucerne (legislature), from 2016 as President of the Social Commission. Among other things, she campaigned for a better work-life balance, equality, sustainable nutrition, neighborhood policy, integration and the promotion of sport.

In March 2019, Bucher was elected to the Lucerne Cantonal Council. As a result, she announced her resignation from the Lucerne city parliament at the end of August 2019. She took up office as Cantonal Councilor in June 2019, where she is a member of the Justice and Security Commission.

Volunteering

In addition to her political commitment, Bucher is a member of the advisory board of the Fanarbeit Luzern and Vicino Luzern associations .
