NoNoNo is a three-piece Swedish dance-pop band that had their breakthrough in 2013 with their debut single Pumpin Blood .
Career
NoNoNo was founded in 2013 by the two producers Tobias Jimson (alias Astma) and Michel Flygare (alias Rocwell) as well as the singer-songwriter Stina Wäppling in Stockholm . According to her own statements, Wäppling had previously finished her psychology studies. Jimson and Flygare had previously produced songs for bands such as Icona Pop , whose influences can also be found here.
In April 2013, the trio released their first single Like the Wind , with which they first drew attention on the Internet. At the end of June 2013, the three musicians had their first television appearance on Swedish breakfast television. The British BBC presenter Zane Lowe took her debut single Pumpin Blood in his program and then nonono received a recording contract with Warner . In August, the release of Pumpin Blood followed , with which they landed their first chart success. The song was used as a soundtrack for the films Fack ju Göhte and Endless Love , among others . In March 2014, the official music video of their third single Hungry Eyes was released.
