Ilona Mayer-Zach (born June 13, 1963 in Graz , Styria) is an Austrian author and writer .

life and work

After graduating from high school, Mayer-Zach spent several years abroad (especially in Italy), worked as a journalist and studied journalism and communication studies (Mag. Phil.). For the Austria press agency she reported a. a. about the Jack Unterweger trial . In 2005 she founded Textwerk IMNetzwerk and has since published detective novels, short stories, anthologies, mystery mysteries (including for “ Die Presse ”) and plays. She also writes volumes, children's books and commissioned literary works for agencies, companies and publishers. Her cozy crime series with the serial character Helene Kaiser is set in Graz and Styria. Her blog Spirit55 is about inspiration and motivation.

Mayer-Zach lives and works in Graz and Vienna.
