Noah Ringer (born November 18, 1996 in Dallas , Texas , United States) is an American actor.

Life

Before Noah Ringer started his film career, he practiced Taekwondo . He has been training Taekwondo since he was five years old and has a black belt. Ringer has been shaving his hair almost completely since the age of seven, following the example of the Chinese Shaolin monks.

Ringer received his first film role in 2010 for the real- life film Die Legende von Aang (English. The Last Airbender ). Ringer first appeared in the main role of Aang and received a nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film (Leading Young Actor) for the Young Artist Award 2011 for his performance .

He played his second role in the film Cowboys & Aliens , directed by Jon Favreau . The film was released in 2011, Ringer plays as Emmett Taggart alongside Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, among others .
