Nobia is a Swedish company that manufactures and sells fitted kitchens . Nobia AB employs 6,000 people and had annual sales of just under SEK 13 billion in 2016 .

The Swedish company Nobia was founded in 1996 and is now the largest manufacturer of kitchen furniture in Europe. The company is headquartered in Stockholm , on whose stock exchange the company is listed. Nobia’s major regional, national and international brands are represented in many European countries. The company specializes in made-to-measure fitted kitchens and generates part of its income through franchising . In 2003 there was a legal dispute between Nobia and the German kitchen manufacturer Nobilia due to the likelihood of confusion between the two names. From 2008 to 2010 Preben Bager was CEO and Managing Director at Nobia AB, and Morten Falkenberg has been running the company since 2010 .

  • Myresjö (since 1996, initially under Poggenpohl, merged in Marbodal in 2014)

Culinoma Holding

In February 2007 Nobia and the Dutch De MandemakersGroep BV acquired equal shares in the joint venture Culinoma-Holding. In March 2010 the De Mandemakers Group buys Nobias 50% stake in Culinoma and at the same time takes over all shares of Nobia from Pronorm built-in kitchen GmbH.
