Noel Philip Ryan (born 1912 in Manly , † November 23, 1969 in Sydney ) was an Australian swimmer.
He was able to celebrate his greatest successes in the 1930s at the British Empire Games - the forerunner of the Commonwealth Games . There he won four gold medals and one bronze medal. In 1932 Ryan was appointed to the national selection of his home country for the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles . He competed in three competitions and came fourth in the 1500 meter freestyle.
