Nokia Xseries

The Nokia Xseries (also Nokia X-Series ) is a range of cell phones from Nokia , which are mostly aimed at younger users who are interested in music and videos. The first models, the Nokia X3-00 and X6-00, were presented at Nokia-World '09. The XSeries group succeeds the XpressMusic series.

Nokia X1

Nokia X1-01

The Nokia X1 is a mobile phone based on the S30 surface in a classic bar shape with the option of accepting and operating two SIM cards ("dual SIM"). It came on the market in May 2010 and had a radio, an MP3 player and a battery of relatively large capacity, but no camera.

Nokia X2

The Nokia X2-00 is a mobile phone based on the S40 user interface that was largely similar to the Nokia X3. The main differences to the X3 are the bar shape and the improved camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and the integrated LED flash, which was also used as a flashlight.

Nokia X2-02

In contrast to the X2-00 and just like the X1-01, the Nokia X2-02 model could accept and operate a second SIM card. It was marketed from the end of 2011.

The Nokia X3 is a mobile phone that is based on the S40 surface in the sixth version. It has buttons for the camera and music player. The display is 2.2 inches and has a resolution of 320 * 240 pixels. The internal memory can be expanded by up to 16 GB using a microSD card. The 3.2 megapixel camera has a rudimentary video recording function. The device also has a 3.5 mm jack socket for stereo headsets according to OMTP as well as Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. Only the four GSM frequency bands, but not UMTS, are supported on radio networks . The stand-by time of the 103 gram mobile phone is up to 380 hours, the talk time a maximum of 7.5 hours. According to Nokia, up to 26 hours of music can be played.

Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is an inexpensive bar-shaped smartphone with the S40 operating system. It was characterized by parallel operation via a separate numeric keypad and a 6.1-centimeter touchscreen with a resolution of 320 * 240 pixels and 262,144 colors. The device had a 5 megapixel camera and an FM radio. The UMTS mobile phone supported HSPA, WLAN and Bluetooth 2.1 as interfaces and transmission standards and had a micro-USB and a 3.5-millimeter jack for standard headphones. The market launch took place in September 2010.

Nokia X6

The Nokia X6 is a capacitive touchscreen multimedia phone that was 3.2 inches and has a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The user interface was the S60 5th Edition from Nokia. The mobile phone has a QWERTY keyboard that can be faded in on the touchscreen, a camera with 5 megapixels, Bluetooth and USB 2.0, and an internal memory of 8, 16 or 32 GB that could not be expanded. The 32 GB version was delivered with the Nokia music service "Comes with music". With the X6 phones, Nokia offered lifelong navigation that could be updated free of charge at any time using maps from Ovi Maps . The stand-by times of the 122 gram mobile phone are 420 or 450 hours (GSM / UMTS) and the talk times were 11.5 and 6 hours (GSM / UMTS). According to Nokia, up to 35 hours of music and up to around three and a half hours of videos can be played.

Nokia X7

Nokia X7-00

The Nokia X7 is a smartphone with a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. It was presented for the first time on February 3, 2011 and, like the E6 model, worked with the Symbian 3 "Anna" operating system. It is very similar in structure and software to the E7 , but in contrast to the E7, it does not have a Qwertz keyboard that can be pulled out to the side and does not have an HDMI connection, but the internal memory can be expanded.
