The Nomad Rock (English for nomadic rock ) is an isolated cliff rock in the Bransfield Strait . It is located 15 km northeast of Cape Legoupil and 8 km off the north coast of the Trinity Peninsula in the north of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee decided in 1957 on an allegorical naming , which should reflect the confusion around corrections and changes of naming and positioning of geographical objects in this area.
