Nonchalant

Nonchalant (born October 18, 1970 ; actually Tanya Pointer ) is an American rapper and singer from Washington DC . In 1996 their single 5 O'Clock reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was awarded gold .

Career

Her label at the time, MCA Records , went down in disputes. Her contract was only terminated in 2000. Then she learned to produce and tried to get a new label deal - in vain. In 2005 she finally got a distribution deal with SMD .
