Noord is the name for a settlement area on the northern tip of the island of Aruba .
Together with the more southern Tanki Leendert , Noord forms a demographic unit. In the Noord region there are two large hotel complexes with the Tierra del Sol Golf Course and three well-known beaches, as well as the Malmok housing estate with numerous small houses and the California lighthouse .
