Norbert Dörmann (born August 31, 1958 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Even as a teenager he had his FC Schalke 04 both in 1975 and 1976 in the final of the German A-Junior Championship , after the Junior Championship 1976 he moved up in the Bundesliga Schalke squad. The Libero was also the captain of various DFB teams . From 1976 to 1979 he played for Schalke 04 and was German runner-up in 1977 with the team. In 1979 Norbert Dörmann moved to the Revier rival Borussia Dortmund , for which he was active in the Bundesliga for two years. From 1981 to 1987 he also played for Alemannia Aachen and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the 2nd Bundesliga . He later ended his active career in the Oberliga Nordrhein at Wuppertaler SV and 1. FC Bocholt .

Norbert Dörmann played a total of 60 Bundesliga games and scored two goals. In the 2nd Bundesliga he came to 147 appearances with 18 goals.
