Norbert Kaiser

Norbert Kaiser (born June 22, 1944 ) is a German journalist, poet and songwriter.

Kaiser is best known for his lyrics for the band Karat . The lyrics for the album Schwanenkönig as well as most of the lyrics on The Blue Planet , Over Seven Bridges / Albatros , Fifth Season and The Seven Wonders of the World come from Kaiser's pen .

On October 7, 1984 he and Karat received the National Prize III for their work as a copywriter . Class for art and culture. In 1987 he ended his collaboration with the band and moved to the Federal Republic of Germany , where he worked as a journalist. More recently, Kaiser has also been active again as a songwriter, for example for Thomas Natschinski . Kaiser has been working with the star combo Meißen since 2009 ; he wrote nine lyrics for the album Lebensuhr .
