Norbert Krause
Norbert Krause (born September 30, 1959 in Wolfsburg ) is a German chemist .
Life
Krause studied chemistry from 1979 at the Technical University of Braunschweig , and in 1984 wrote his diploma thesis on the subject of dehydroretinal under Henning Hopf . In 1986, he was in the same working group to work sterically and electronically modified retinoids doctorate . His habilitation took place in 1993 at the Technical University of Darmstadt under Klaus Hafner on the subject of regional and stereoselectivity problems in addition reactions of organocuprates . In 1994 he was appointed professor of organic chemistry at the University of Bonn . In 1998 he moved to the University of Dortmund , where he has been researching and teaching ever since.
From 2006 to 2013 he was a member of the editorial board of the European Journal of Organic Chemistry .
