Norbert Mayer (writer)
Norbert Mayer (* 1958 in Egg , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian writer .
Life
Norbert Mayer lives in Schwarzach . He published in anthologies , art catalogs and literary magazines . From 1980 to 1983 he worked as a teacher at an elementary school in the Bregenz Forest . Mayer writes poetry , short stories , plays for children and young people. As part of his projects, he worked with musicians and visual artists . In 2000 he received the Vorarlberg Literature Scholarship . At the 2003 Feldkircher Poetry Prize , Mayer took second place. In 2011 he received the jury award at the Irseer Pegasus .
In addition to book publications, Mayer also published in anthologies, literary magazines and on the radio .
