Norbert von Kunitzki

Norbert von Kunitzki , (* 1934 in Pafendall ; † November 25, 2005 due to a climbing accident in Vietnam ), was a Luxembourg business manager and university president, who became known through his publications and lectures.

Norbert von Kunitzki studied economics in Antwerp and was employed by Arbed in 1954 . In 1970 he became chief financial officer of the steel company. In 1971 he took up a professorship at the Center Universitaire. In 1987 he became general director and in 1994 president of Sidmar zu Gent . In 1991 he received an honorary doctorate from Ghent University. In 1998 he returned to Luxembourg and became director of the Center Universitaire .

For a while, Norbert von Kunitzki was President of the Consumer Protection Association of Luxembourg and Vice-President of the Telindus Executive Committee . He was also a member of the Luxembourg Income Study asbl , President of the EuroSignCard , President of the Institut d'études européennes et internationales du Luxembourg , President of Mobistar , Member of the Board of Directors of Systran , Member of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra , of the Luxembourg Red Cross and of Europe tower .
