The term Nordic Older Bronze Age refers to the beginning of the Bronze Age in northern Europe and northern Germany ( Nordic Bronze Age ). The term is an alternative term for the term “Period I – III” according to Oscar Montelius, which is common in archaeological circles . Relatively chronologically, the period from the end of the Central European Early Bronze Age (Bronze Age A2) up to and including the beginning of the Central European Late Bronze Age (Bronze Age D and Hallstatt Age A1) is named.
