The Nordjysk Music Conservatory ( Danish for North Jutian Conservatory ; also Royal Music Academy Aarhus / Aalborg ) is a conservatory in Denmark . It is subordinate to the Ministry of Culture .

The university teaches at two locations, in Aalborg and Aarhus , after the previously independent institutions merged in January 2010. The school offers training in the classical and rhythmic areas and awards Bachelor and Master degrees. The bachelor's degree lasts three years and provides basic training to become a musician or music teacher. It is the basis for all further training.

Master classes and workshops are also offered. Schoolchildren and teachers give numerous public concerts, for example at the annual “RAMA Festival” or in cooperation with partners such as SPOT Festival , Levende Musik i Skolen or the annual Aarhus Jazz Festival .
