Nordmann supplies natural and chemical raw materials, as well as additives and specialty chemicals from all over the world with the appropriate application technology know-how. history

In January 1912, the merchants Eduard Nordmann and Fritz Rassmann merged in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg to form an international trading company for natural rubber, Nordmann, Rassmann & Co. (NRC). In 1915 they expanded their range to include raw cocoa. In 1949, Nordmann, Rassmann & Co. began distributing the raw materials. Between 1991 and 2007 the trading company expanded its branches in Central and Eastern Europe and founded various subsidiaries. Kemi-Intressen AB in Stockholm was bought in 2005 and prochem AG in Zurich in 2007. The Italian company Jointec srl in Milan and Copci SAS, based in Annecy, France, joined the NRC Group in 2013. Neoquímica SA, based in Portugal, has been part of the NRC Group since 2015. The subsidiary Nordmann, Rassmann Turkey Dis Ticaret AS was founded in Istanbul in March 2016. Since September 2017, Melrob Group Holdings Ltd. to the NRC Group. The company, founded in 1995, is one of the leading international chemical distributors and is headquartered in Crawley, UK, as well as further locations in Spain, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India and the USA.
