The Norman Crag is a 1400 m high and rugged nunatak with a split summit plateau on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 3.3 km north of the summit of Mount Bird .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2001 after the New Zealand civil engineer Bob Norman who chaired the Ross Dependency Research Committee from 1988 .
