Norra Ljunga
Norra Ljunga is a village in the Swedish municipality of Sävsjö in the province of Jönköpings län and the historical province (landskap) Småland .
The small village has fewer than 50 inhabitants (as of 2010). It is located southwest of Sävsjö , south of road 170 from Vrigstad to Sävsjö. The Ljungaån flows south of the village .
In the village stands the 12th century church of Norra Ljunga . There are also prehistoric sites in the vicinity, such as the burial ground of Norra Ljunga .
Personalities
In the area of the parish of Norra Ljungas, the MPs Carl Johan Mejenqvist (1823–1909) and John Pettersson (1893–1968) were born.
