The North Knife Lake is a lake in the north of the Canadian province of Manitoba .
North Knife Lake is 170 km west of Cape Churchill . The lake is about 260 m above sea level in the area of the Canadian Shield . It has a longitudinal extent in north-south direction of 34 km. Its maximum width is about 6 km. The lake is traversed by the North Knife River in a northerly direction. The Drift River , another tributary, drains Paragon Lake to the northwest . The remote lake is usually reached by seaplane. Fishing tourists mainly catch pike and Arctic char in the lake . Arctic grayling are found in the tributaries of the lake.
