The North Knife River is a tributary of the Hudson Bay in the Canadian province of Manitoba .
The North Knife River rises west of North Knife Lake . It initially flows southeast to Knifehead Lake . It then turns north, flowing through North Knife Lake in a northerly direction, but then turns east and runs parallel to the north-flowing Seal River . Finally, the North Knife River turns northeast and reaches 25 km northwest of Churchill the estuary delta on the west coast of Hudson Bay, into which the South Knife River , coming from the south, also flows.
Longer canoe tours are available on the relatively remote and long course of the North Knife River.
