Noseholes is a predominantly English-speaking band from Hamburg .

history

After the breakup of the band Das eNde, in which Steve Somalia and TH played, the free jazz trio Hand Sex was formed in 2015 with the entry of Henk Haiti on drums . In 2016 Zoosea Cide completed the band and the noseholes were formed.

The Noseholes then released their debut EP in April 2017 . This was released in German-speaking countries on the independent label ChuChu Records and In A Car. Harbinger Sound did this for the UK.

Her first album Danger Dance was released in early 2018 . The album was released again through ChuChu Records and Harbinger Sound. Since then they have been playing concerts in Germany regularly, including with their label colleagues, the Sleaford Mods .

Music genre

The Musikexpress describes the music of the noseholes in a review of the album Danger Dance as No Wave and draws comparisons to the early Swans and Sonic Youth .
