Nossa Senhora da Conceição e São Bartolomeu is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Vila Viçosa in the Alentejo , in southern Portugal .

It represents the actual inner city community of the small town ( Vila ) Vila Viçosa.

5,023 inhabitants live in the municipality on an area of ​​33.19 km² (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by merging the municipalities of Conceição and São Bartolomeu .
