Emergency doctor information system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Emergency doctor information systems (NIS) are special computer systems for documentation in pre-clinical emergency medicine or in the rescue service .

The documentation includes the minimum emergency medical record (MIND) and the DIVI rescue service protocol. Some of them have a connection to the medical devices in the ambulance ( vital signs monitor , defibrillator ) so that continuous recording of vital functions is possible.

In the Stroke Angel project , the emergency data of stroke patients was transferred to the clinic in advance with the help of an NIS, thus significantly shortening the treatment process.
