The Nova revija pravna - časopis za domače, latino i Evropsko pravo shortly NPR (New Legal Arrange - Journal of regional, German and European law) is a legal journal for the successor states of the former Yugoslavia. It contains articles on all areas of law in Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian. These are supplemented by German summaries and German translations of the editorial and the foreword.

target group

The magazine is aimed at practicing lawyers (judges, public prosecutors, lawyers, corporate lawyers, lawyers in public authorities), legal scholars and law students in the successor states of the former Yugoslavia. A particular goal of the NPR is to promote specialist journalistic activities by young lawyers from these countries.

Content

The NPR provides information on legal developments in the successor states of the former Yugoslavia, in the field of European law in the broader sense and German law. In particular, the influences of European and German law on national rights in the area of ​​circulation of the magazine are dealt with. In addition to the first publication of scientific articles previously assessed in a double-blind report, translations of articles from recognized German specialist journals are printed. This is supplemented by a specialized journalistic section that makes up more than half of the magazine, with information on current legal developments, commented translations of foreign regulations, conference reports and book reviews.

Authorship and editing

The essays appearing in the NPR are written by university staff, practitioners and young lawyers. The specialized journalistic part with its various sections mostly comes from the permanent members of the editorial team. The previous foreign guest authors include: B. Andreas Voßkuhle and Jutta Limbach .

The editors are Slavko Đorđević (Kragujevac, Serbia), Zlatan Meškić (Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Meliha Povlakić (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Stefan Pürner (Bonn, Germany), Darja Softić Kadenić (editor, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina ).

Editorial Board

The editorial team is supported by an international editorial board, Tomislav Borić (Austria), Tatjana Josipović (Croatia), Heinz-Peter Mansel (Germany), Dušan Nikolić (Serbia), Borislav Petrović (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Friedrich-Christian Schroeder ( Germany) belong.

Publishing and distribution

The NPR has been published twice a year since 2010. It is published by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation eV (IRZ) , the German-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Lawyers Association (DBHJV) and the Society for Research into German Law and its Reception based in Serbia. The publication is financed with funds from the German Foreign Office from the German contribution to the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe . The magazine is distributed free of charge. The print edition is distributed to the most important specialist libraries and multipliers in the region via the network of the issuing organizations. The PDF edition is available for download from websites in the area where the magazine is distributed.
