NOVUM Hospitality is a Hamburg- based hotel group . With locations in Germany, the Netherlands, England, Spain and Austria, it is one of the largest hotel operators in the DA-CH region with 186 hotels (around 25,000 rooms in total, as of May 2020) and more than 2,500 employees. The family-run group of companies includes hotels from its own brands Novum Hotels, Select Hotels, the niu and Yggotel. In addition, NOVUM Hospitality operates brands from ACCOR , IHG and Best Western as a franchisee . The hotels are controlled centrally from Hamburg.

With a turnover of 214 million euros in 2018, NOVUM Hospitality is one of the 50 largest hotel operators in Germany. According to the company, a turnover of 250 million euros should be achieved in 2019. CEO David Etmenan was named "Head of the Year 2017" by the "AHGZ Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung". The niu Hotels own brand currently operates around 20 hotels in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and England.
