Nuclear Simphony was an Italian thrash metal band from Favara , which was founded in 1982 under the name Galax and split up in 1991.

history

The band was formed in 1982 under the name Galax and consisted of singer and guitarist Gino Pecoraro, drummer John the Crash and bassist Totem. By 1986 the band released the first four demos with The First Battle , The Blood - Feud of the Dragon , The Dragon's Death and Big Final . After several line-up changes, the first appearance at a Sicilian pop music festival followed in 1985 . In 1986 the band renamed itself Nuclear Simphony. In the same year, One Day We'll All Be the Same was followed by a first demo, of which the title song could be heard on the sampler Metalmaniac . In March of the same year, The Reality… So Near… another demo followed, after which Ciro could be heard as another guitarist. In 1987 the next demo followed with Choir of the Desperation , whereby the band reached a contract with Discomagic Records . The band then went to Germany to record their debut album Lost In Wonderland . During the recording, the band consisted of guitarist and singer Gino Pecoraro, guitarist and bassist Ciro and drummer Giovanni. The album was released in 1990, although it was available in Germany through SPV . After the release of another demo in 1991, the band broke up in the same year.

style

In their early days, the band played rock music in the style of bands like Yes or Genesis , but then turned to thrash metal. The music on the Lost in Wonderland album was technically demanding and variable. The album is comparable to the early works by Metallica .
