Nueva Córdoba is a neighborhood in the Argentine city ​​of Córdoba . It is located south of the center ( Centro ) and with 29,412 inhabitants (2001) is one of the most populous of the more than 400 districts of the city.

Nueva Córdoba has an area of ​​123.37 hectares or 1.23 km 2 . In 2007, the women's prison was converted into the Paseo del Buen Pastor cultural center , which quickly became the urban center of the district.
