Nurit Zarchi
Nurit Zarchi (* 1941 in Jerusalem ) is an Israeli writer.
Life
After losing her father at the age of six, Nurit Zarchi grew up in Kibbutz Geva. She graduated from Jerusalem and worked as a journalist. She also gave courses in creative writing. Zarchi's work includes short stories, poetry, essays and more than 80 children's books. Her books have been translated into a total of 15 languages.

She was also awarded the Ze'ev Prize five times .
