Nusa Tupe is a small uninhabited island in the Western Province of the Pacific Island Republic of the Solomon Islands .
The narrow, elongated island is about 2 kilometers off the east coast of Ghizo and basically only consists of a 1.8 km long runway for the provincial capital Gizo .
From Nusa Tupe there is a daily connecting flight of Solomon Airlines in 90 minutes to and from Honiara , the capital of the Solomon Islands.
