Nyabitekeri

Nyabitekeri is a sector ( kinyarwanda : imirenge ) in the district ( akarere ) Nyamasheke in the western province of Rwanda .

Nyabitekeri is located on a headland on Lake Kivu near the Congolese border. The Nyabitekeri sector consists of the five cells ( utugari ) Muyange, Mariba, Kininga, Ntango and Kigabuo. The population is 32,500.

There has been a town partnership with Boppard since 2008 .
