The nymph fountain "Die Badende" (also The bathing nymph ) is a fountain in the Bürgerwiese in Dresden .

The fountain consists of a fountain sculpture “Die Badende” made of white Tyrolean marble , which was created by Bruno Fischer . The bather steps into an eight-meter-wide granite basin in front of her that was created by the architect Wilhelm Kreis . He is also responsible for the water-spouting granite mask.

Kreis also determined the location of the fountain, which was built there in 1908 and then handed over to the city of Dresden. It has been powered by drinking water since it was built.
